What is a "high grade partial thickness rotator cuff tear"?
A year ago I injured my Right Rotator cuff while doing some heavy lifting. The initial MRI showed a complete and a partial tear. I have since had surgery where the Dr. said I did not have a tear. I have cont. to have problems and have had another MRI. It was noted that I have a "high grade partial thickness tear". Surgery was recommended again but the Dr. declined when he found out my cardiac risk factors. Per his recommendation I am going to the nearby medical school for an eval for surgery again. What does a "high grade partial thickness tear" mean and what are my other options. I have pain with lifting my arm and definite weakness.
