Rotator Cuff Stretches?
For the last couple of days I have been taking a ball and
1) Holding the ball with both hands over my head, arms fully extended then bent my elbows so that the ball is behind my head then(going back over my head) throwing it against a wall and repeating and
2) Holding the ball in one hand palm up, bringing the ball back(like in bowling) and then taking my arm all the way back, over my head and throwing the ball against the wall, like starting from underarm throw into over arm throw
Keep in mind all moves were done in one swift motion not in steps,
My back, around my rib cage is sore as well as my upper arms
Are these moves hurting or strengthening my rotator cuffs for volleyball?
