About extreme tendenitis?
I had a double concussion and "lost" 4 days. When I finally remembered everything, I couldn't hardly use my left arm. I went to the Dr. and first he had it x-rayed. Then I had a MRI. They said there were no reasons to have rotator cuff surgery. I am in PT and it has been 7-8 wks. and it is still killing me! I also have chronic migraines. The pain makes the headaches worse sometimes also and I have started having more since I hurt my arm. HELP!

Help, pain in neck, top of shoulder and back normal after rotator cuff surgery?
It's been about 6 weeks after having a very small rotator cuff tear repaired and bone spur removed from my shoulder. I have been having constant pain in my neck, side of neck, upper shoulder, and back. It's constantly aching and it's really taking a toll on me. I have not been able to sleep or do much because of it. I thought the pain is supposed to get better? I'm able to move my arm more now than before, but the pain is just horrible. I notice if I do a stretch that (physical therapist wants me to do) requires me to stretch my arm outward to regain flexibility in that area, my shoulder blade gets stretched and that causes even more aching. I hadn't done it in a week and a half, but did it yesterday and the pain gets more sever for a couple days. Is this all normal? I feel like something is wrong and I've told my PT this and doc, but they said it's going to hurt. I just feel like this should not be happening at this point after 6 weeks. Anyone know?

would a rotator cuff surgery disqualify me from enlisting in the Marine Corps?
im really trying hard to enlist but i feel like i should get this surgery done first, it feels fine if i let it rest for a couple of days but when i start working it when i move my arm at all it will hurt, i can probably go through the pain at boot camp but i would like to not have to

If I have full mobility is that a sign i dont need rotator cuff surgery or a doctor?
I fell snowboarding and I'm pretty sure I strained my rotator cuff. No bumps like torn muscles or anything. It only hurts when i lift my arm forward, like to drink from a glass or put a shirt on. Its stiff and just gets sore when I move it, but feels completely normal when I live it at my side. I still have full mobililty, just with discomfort.
I dont need a doctor do I (the less I have on my record about injuries the better)? I shouldn't need surgery if i still have full mobility do I? its been a day and half since the fall.
I'm not worried about being sore for a while, but I'm in the Army so having a lasting injury is not an option. Ive been an athlete all my life so iv seen alot of these nagging injuries in other people and now they are my biggest fear...
Also, what is the best way to rehab? should I immobilize or stretch my shoulder? Ive been icing and using ibuprofen.
Thanks
Grant

Is pain 5 months after rotator cuff surgery, normal?
I had a complete tear and bone spur repair of the rotator cuff at the beginning of Aug '10. I have had
an excellent physical therapist whom I'm seeing still twice a week, but I still have alot of discomfort and aching and it gets stiff in between visits although I am doing therapy at home. Has anyone had these same issues this far post op, and is it normal?
