rotator cuff tendonitis but my pain is so extreme i cant control it?
because of this ongoing pain problem, (about 5 years total) ive gotten 2 mri's and taken so much ibuprofen that i nnow cannot take that and now have to take a lot of prescribed prilosec to help my stomach. ive been prescribed tramadol and celebrex, but sometimes, like tonight, it only takes a bit of the pain away. hydrocortizone shots dont have any affect, im in agony, what are some other remedies, becides icing it? by the way im only 25, why am i falling apart, ( i have tendonitis in several other major joints of my body)
well the latest visit with the "best shoulder surgeon in the area" resulted in me nearly crying, because he said no need for surgery, and i hurt so bad cause i shouldnt have listened to the physical therapists. therapy has only resulted in more pain, so rest = pain and therapy = pain... the tramadol is wearing out, and i will not take narcotics, because i have worked in a drug treatment center, and seen the results of opiates. so im curious about acupunture or some other treatments.

Rotator Cuff - Tendonitis or a tear.?
During softball a on last wed and thurs my shoulder was popping when I threw the ball. On Friday I couldn't lift it above my should with a sharp pain. It got better over the weekend, but it still pops when I do any upward arm motion. (I have only tossed th ball underhand since fri.) Yesterday, I decided to bat just a bit and there is swelling around my shoulder blade and my shoulder feels like its too loose.
I've been icing and heating it and I have been taking ibuprofen.
