Hurt Shoulder?
I have hurt my left shoulder doing freestyle. Ive been to the doctor about it and they are sorta confused because i dont show signs of rotator cup injury. And it aches almost every day. When I swim it hurts from my shoulder down the inside of my left arm in a stinging pain. What could this possible be and what are the best treatments!?

I dislocated my shoulder 5 wks. ago,am going for pre-op p.t. I'm having my 1st MRI,Tuesday,Dr. says I have a
torn rotator cup & maybe nerve or tendon damage,could that be why I still hurt alot and have a burning sensation in my muscle?I also seem to get numb between my elbow and shoulder alot.Is this normal?

About a month and a half ago i was electricuted at work by just over 2000 volts at 4 amps and 2 weeks later i finally got to see a COMPANY doctor who of which never sent me to get and MRI or anything just put me on light duty - well 2 weeks after that i went back for my follow up and i explained to the doctor that my shouler was still bothering me but was fine after taking pain medicine, so i was then sent back to work on full duty. The following wednesday i was in a wreck and my shoulder immediately began to just kill me. So i went to my own doctor and i was sent off for MRI's. The doctor got the MRI back and said that i have severe tendinitis. which i was then told it may to anywhere from 6 weeks to 6 months to heal. Could this be caused from my inital injury from work?

Is there any real reason to go to the doctor for a large bruise?
My boyfriend fell down a few stairs yesterday and laned on his hip. He can walk ok but it is swollen and bruised in about a 8" round area. He also hurt his shoulder and thinks he may have hurt the rotator cup. Of course he won't go to a doctor and I'm wondering if there is any danger in that? He is taking advil and vicodine for the pain. Is there any point where even a bruise is dangerous?
