Shoulder rotator cuff injury?
I metal detect as a hobby. Started in April 2010. One of the tools I use is a pin point probe. The probe is holstered on my belt. To get it out I have to lift my right (non dominant) arm very high....imagine pointing your elbow towards the sky. That is how high I hade to lift that arm. Two weeks ago I started having a sharp pain in my right shoulder (front top side) when I try to move that arm across my body. In the shower it is hard for me to wash my left side with my right arm because of the pain. It also hurts at night when I try to sleep on the right sholder. Other than that I can use that arm normally. Out to the side, overhead, etc..... There is no swelling or constant pain.
BTW I still hunt (detect) because I swing the machine with my left arm which is fine. Plus I moved the probe to a much better lower position.

Looking for a good pain medication Doctor in Washington State?
I recently had to move to Washington State due to losing my job and my house to foreclosure. I fell off a ladder and messed my shoulder/rotator cuff injury. I don't have insurance anymore and cannot afford surgery as prescribed. Can anyone recommend a doctor where I can get some pain meds until I can get insurance again and get the surgery I need?

left shoulder rotator cuff injury?
I was recently diagnosed with rotator cuff injury of the left shoulder and suffering with signs and symptoms of the same for the past 2 years. 5 years back i sustained left clavicle fracture and currently working from home. I used to commute 42 km to and fro daily on my pulsar 150 during peak hours of traffic and after 1 year of doing so I experienced left arm weakness, pain on raising my left arm. I have no idea whether the clavicle fracture could be a contributing factor for the rotator cuff injury or the weight of the bike or both. Even now the pain usually aggravates when I ride my bike. Shall i replace my bike's existing handlebars with a raised handlebars or buy a 100 cc bike instead. By the way my height is 5'8" and average build.
