Does anybody know if massage therapy can cure tendinitis of the shoulder?
Have had it for months now and anti-inflammatories like Advil and Alleve have not worked, nor has a prescription anti-inflammatory had any appreciable affect. Am I at the end of my rope...or is there another option?

Calcified tendonitis of the shoulder. Does golf make it worse?
Does golf make this worse? One doc told my Dad there is no relation between golf and this condition. Another said he should rest the shoulder till he is better. Any opinions please? Thanks.

Does tendinitis cause fatigue/sleepiness?
I just found out that I may have tendinitis of the shoulder, knees, legs and ankles from taking the antibiotics Avelox and Cipro. I never had tendinitis in my life. I'm 23 y/o. Healthy, and don't do strainuous activites. I've noticed I've become really sleep a lot. I do have trouble falling asleep at night b/c of the pain but I seem to sleep 12-18 hrs a day. I'm not about to have a period. This is week 2 of my cycle which is bizarre for me to feel so tired. Currently, I eat healthy and take a mulitivitamin every day. I just want to know if the sleepiness is an effect of tendinitis or could it be something else?

Tendinitis of the Shoulder?
My friend has tendinitis in both of her shoulder (i am asking for her). She plays with a volleyball team every sunday and they are really strict about missing practices. She wants to still play, but i dont think its a good idea. Should she not play?

Can someone tell me more about tendonitis of the shoulder joint?
I want to go into the military but I have pain in my shoulder when I lift weights over my head. My shoulder doesn't hurt if I let it rest for several weeks or don't lift weights over my head. For instance right now I can move my shoulder any which way and there is no pain at all. However if I even do a military press with as little as 10lbs my right shoulder begins to hurt and if I keep it up then it hurts even when I am not lifting weights. That is why I stopped lifting weights. However I know if I go into the military I am going to be expected to lift weights and do strenuous exercises which might cause my shoulder to become inflamed. Will this tendonitis go away on its own eventually? I am in my early 30's and I started noticing this problem several months ago. I have just ordered advil to try to decrease the inflamation in my shoulder tendons and I ordered ointment with advil in it to rub on my shoulder. If this doesnt work I plan to get a cortizon shot. Do you think that I will eventually be fit enough and my shoulder will heal enough to be able to get into the military?
Correction: The medicine I ordered is ibuprofen. Not advil.

Would tendonitis of the shoulder cause chest and back pain?
I recently had and MRI of my shoulder and was diagnosed with tendonitis. I also have back, neck and chest pain on the same side. My bone crunch and grind in my nek as well. Anyone experience this? Is this common. Ribs on that side hurt as well...
